CYCLADES-TS UPGRADE TABLE

IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE YOU START:

- Before you upgrade your TS, please check the table below to see which restrictions may apply and which procedures to follow. If you have any question, please contact Cyclades Technical Support before you attempt to upgrade your unit.

- In order to keep your current configuration when upgrading your firmware from one version to another, make sure you follow the correspondent upgrade_xxx.txt file.

*OK. In this case, you can just replace your current TS firmware file (zImage) with the new one located under the directory correspondent to your TS model and follow the correspondent upgrade file if you want to keep the current configuration.

Ex: /pub/cyclades/cyclades-ts/released/V_1.3.3/TS100/

Ex: /pub/cyclades/cyclades-ts/released/V_1.3.3/upgrade_133.txt

*1. For TS1000 and TS2000 _only_: The minimum requirement in order to upgrade your TS1000/TS2000 firmware version to 1.2.0 and above is the memory RAM installed in the unit; the TS1000 needs at least 32M of RAM and the TS2000 needs at least 64M of RAM. Use the command "free" to see if your TS1000/TS2000 has the memory size required by this version (TS1000 32M or more, TS2000 64Mor more).

*2. If your current TS firmware version is 1.3.3 or below and you want to upgrade to the firmware version 1.3.4, you will have to upgrade the Alternate boot code also.

Please, follow the upgrade instructions located under the directory correspondent to your TS model.

Ex: /pub/cyclades/cyclades-ts/released/V_1.3.4/TS3000/ts3k.txt

*3. If your current TS firmware version is 1.3.3 or below and you want to upgrade to the firmware version 1.3.5 or above you have to upgrade your TS to the firmware version 1.3.4 first (*2).

Please, follow the upgrade instructions located under the directory correspondent to your TS model, and then upgrade your TS to the next version 1.3.5 or above.

*4. If your current TS firmware version is 1.3.6 or below and you wan to upgrade to the firmware 1.3.8.1 or above, you have to upgrade your TS to the firmware version 1.3.8 first in order not to loose your actual configuration.
